Cutlers Offers Colour Coded Hygiene Tool Shadow Boards to the Food Industry

December 2009

Cutler Cleaning Supplies Ltd - Jangro member for Cheshire and Staffordshire and a key supply partner to many food manufacturers have enjoyed great success with hygiene tool shadow boards following their launch at the International Cheese Awards and Show held at Nantwich in late July.

These innovative hygiene tool shadow boards are designed to readily identify the correct, task specific and colour coded hygiene cleaning equipment. Cleaning supervisors and operatives can see at a glance that the equipment is all in place, off the floor and ready to use, a simple additional system allows for shift changes to sign the equipment "on and off" at the start and end off each shift.

Working in conjunction with Hill Brush Company, manufacturers of the Salmon Range of Hygiene brush ware and equipment enables Cutlers to offer shadow boards and equipment in eight different colours with hundreds of equipment permutations.

The system offers a number of key benefits:

  • Correct equipment easily audited.
  • Security of brush ware and equipment.
  • Reduced risk of cross contamination.
  • Equipment stored off the floor.
  • Area specific titles, eight different colours.

Although designed for the food industry shadow boards have many uses in other areas such as colleges and schools where good hygiene practises are vital and the above criteria are required.

Cutlers welcomed a number of existing and potential customers to their stand over the shows two days and have had a fantastic response from a number of prominent trade customers.

Cutlers MD, Paul Whitehead commented "this is our first ever exhibition, the response from existing and potential customers has been most encouraging, our staff have worked really hard to design and build the exhibition stand, in the lead up to and during the show itself, I have every confidence that exhibiting at this show will prove to be a great success and a credit to all our staff who made it possible".
