About our Boards

Our bespoke Shadow Boards were originally designed for the food industry to assist food manufacturers ensure that the correct hygiene equipment was in place and ready for use at all times, shift changes could sign their acknowledgement of this and 'inter departmental theft' is reduced. A major benefit of their use is to signify to auditors that your Company takes it's hygiene responsibilities seriously.

Since their launch we have manufactured several thousand boards for use in the production of cheese, jam, chocolate, biscuits, soft drinks, edible oils, peanut butter, bread and cakes.

Manufacturers in the food support industry are now also seeing the benefits, we have fulfilled a number of orders for use in the production of drinks cups, detergents, plastics and food packaging.

The enquiry form

To aid in designing your board, fill out our enquiry form and return.

Add logo and strap line

When returning the enquiry form you can specify a logo and strapline to brand your boards. you can either attach your logo, or specify a link to your company's website where the logo can be found.

Choose Colour

Select colours to identify boards, eg one colour per department or for a specific job. Boards usually have a white background with shadow of Red/Yellow/Green/Blue/Orange/Purple/Black. Colours can be reversed or mixed. If you have specific colour requirements add to the enquiry form.

Add title

The title of the board usually shows the department of the board, although can offer other information such as the job of the board.

Add tools

lots of our customers use the Hill Brush Company 'Salmon' range so those are the codes and descriptions used, if you use Vikan or another manufacturer please advise us of this, use their codes and descriptions and we can get the correct images from their website.

A few hygiene tools are listed in red on the form to give you an idea, delete these when adding your own requirements,

Bespoke Tools

If you have any tools that are not in a catalogue, please attach a photo with dimensions, so we can accuratly design a shadow for it.

Extras

If you would like any extras such as shelves, locations for buckets or any other requirements, enter in the 'more information' area.

Size Limitations

Please advise if you have any size limitations, we normally manufacture to the minimum size to accommodate the equipment required, sizes will be shown on the design artwork.

Design and Quotation

Once we have all the information required we will then design a layout for your boards. You will recieve a free digital design and quotation.

Production

Once the boards have been ordered we will begin production. Shadow boards are manufactured using Alcan Forex; a closed-cell rigid plastic sheet, Images are applied to a white board and then protected with a clear anti graffiti laminate to ensure future cleanliness.
